El presente artículo es producto de una reflexión investigativa en torno a los modos como históricamente se han constituido los discursos hegemónicos sobre el desarrollo, los cuales han sido legitimados por las instituciones sociales occidentales desde hace cuatro siglos, y que encuentran como sustento principal la convergencia entre la modernidad, como modo de comprender el mundo; el capitalismo, como sistema económico globalizante, y la colonialidad, como mecanismo y pauta de dominación. Se profundiza en las implicaciones sociales que ha tenido la apuesta a esta tríada, reconociendo también los retos que viene implicando el introducir otras lógicas, junto con nuevos discursos y nuevas experiencias de libertad que van revelando las crisis por las que atraviesan actualmente estos modelos. |

This paper is a research product about the historical ways how the hegemonic speeches about development, were constituted and how the western social institutions has legitimized these speeches along four centuries, which are supported mainly by the convergence between Modernity, as a way to understand the world; Capitalism, as a global economic system; and Coloniality, as a mechanism and the rules for domination. It is deepens in the social implications of this convergence, also recognizing the challenges that implies introducing other logics, along with new speeches and new experiences of freedom that reveal the crises that the actual models are going through. |
