Abstract:
The following research is based on the impact that music has on the development of communication skills in people with hearing impairment from the CISNE corporation located in Barbosa, Antioquia. This exploration arises from a musical pedagogical practice carried out by one of the research members in the corporation mentioned above to arouse interest in how people can tackle these music learning needs with the hearing disabilities population. It is expected to obtain as a result of the observation what the characterization of this specific community is and what the behaviors and attitudes towards music are. Additionally, it was carried out several interventions through classes using the method “MUSICAL METHOD WITHOUT AUDIO” that allows to recognize what the music impact on the development of these communicative skills is.
