Teniendo en cuenta que la palabra Sexting, es el intercambio de imágenes con contenido sexual,
se ha observado que en la sociedad ha sido muy utilizado con gran fuerza en la tecnología digital
desde un alcance en los celulares y en las diversas edades del ser humano entre ellas en la edad de
adultez temprana. El objetivo de esta investigación es evaluar conductas relacionadas con el
Sexting y el conocimiento de su riesgo en adultos que habitan en el Municipio de San Pedro Valle
del Cauca.
Como metodología se desarrolló un diseño no experimental, con enfoque cuantitativo de tipo
descriptivo transversal, siendo muestra la población del Municipio de San Pedro, donde se aplicó
el cuestionario Sexting Behaviors Scale (SBS) (Dir, 2012) el cual fue validado por Helena Chacon,
Juan Francisco Romero, Yolanda Aragón, M. Jesús Caursel en 2016.
Como conclusión resultó, que la incidencia de la práctica de Sexting es continua y la
población conoce de los riesgos que se pueden presentar al practicarlo, pero no están preparados
para asumirlos.
Taking into account that the word Sexting is the exchange of images with sexual content, it has
been observed that in society it has been widely used with great force in digital technology from a
scope on cell phones and in the various ages of the human being between them in early age and
adulthood. The objective of this research is to evaluate behaviors related to Sexting and the
knowledge of its risk in adults living in the Municipality of San Pedro Valle del Cauca.
As a methodology, a non-experimental design was developed, with a cross-sectional descriptive
quantitative approach, being the population of the Municipality of San Pedro sample, where the
Sexting Behaviors Scale (SBS) questionnaire was applied (Dir, 2012) which was validated by
Helena Chacon, Juan Francisco Romero, Yolanda Aragón, M. Jesús Caursel in 2016.
As a conclusion it turned out that the incidence of the practice of Sexting is continuous and the
population knows of the risks that can be presented when practicing it, but they are not prepared
to assume them.
