The main objective of this project is to implement a System of
Management of Safety and Health at Work (SG-SST) in the Orellana Restaurant,
located in Bogotá, Colombia. The implementation of the SG-SST will be carried
out in order to guarantee the well-being and protection of workers, as well as
compliance with regulations and norms related to occupational safety and health.
To achieve the proposed objective, a systematic approach based on the
requirements established by Colombian regulations related to SG-SST will be
followed. An initial diagnosis will be carried out to identify the occupational
hazards and risks present in the restaurant, which will allow the design of and action plan to control the identified risks. In addition, the roles and responsibilities
of workers and top management in the implementation of the SG-SST will be
defined.
The implementation of the SG-SST will also include the definition of
preventive and corrective measures, training and education of workers on
occupational safety and health, periodic evaluation of the system, and continuous
improvement. The necessary records will be defined to document all activities
related to the SG-SST, and performance indicators will be established to
measure the effectiveness of the system.
It is expected that the implementation of the SG-SST in the Orellana
Restaurant will contribute to creating a safer and healthier work environment,
reducing occupational risks, and improving the well-being of workers, which in
turn will translate into an improvement in the productivity and competitiveness of
the restaurant.
