La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general analizar el papel que cumple el grupo Scout 89 Zulu en la construcción de identidad de los adolescentes Rovers pertenecientes a la Unidad Clan del municipio de Barbosa Antioquia, a través de la identificación de las características sociodemográficas de los adolescentes; la explicación de los vínculos relacionales al interior del grupo que influyen en el proceso de construcción de identidad y el rol de los dirigentes como facilitadores del proceso de construcción de identidad. Para ello, se realizó una investigación con un enfoque cualitativo, desde el paradigma hermenéutico-interpretativo, con un método hermenéutico para construir sentido a la realidad a partir de la comprensión del contexto. La población objetivo fueron 7 adolescentes, sin distinción de género, entre los 17-18 años de edad, pertenecientes a la unidad Clan del grupo Scout 89 zulú del municipio de Barbosa Antioquia. Frente a los hallazgos más relevantes del proceso investigativo, se encuentra que el grupo favorece la adquisición e identificación de características personales en especial el reconocimiento de sí mismo y la otredad, destacando el papel del líder, el cual ejerce influencia en los valores de los adolescentes, motivando a cada uno de los integrantes, a través de la confianza y seguridad, convirtiéndose en un facilitador del proceso de construcción de identidad.
The general objective of the current investigation is the analysis of the role played by the
Scout 89 Zulu group, in the construction of rover teenagers’ identity, belonging to the unit clan
of Barbosa Antioquia, through the identification of the teenager’s sociodemographic
characteristics; the explanation of the relational ties within the group that influences the identity
construction process and the role of leaders as facilitators. Hence, a qualitative research was
carried out, from the hermeneutic-interpretive paradigm, with a hermeneutical method, to
construct meaning of reality from the understanding of the context. The target population was 7
adolescents, without distinction of gender, between 17-18 years old, belonging to the Unit clan
of the Scout 89 Zulu group, from Barbosa Antioquia.
According to the most relevant findings of the research process, it was evidenced that the
group favors the acquisition and identification of personal characteristics, especially selfrecognition and otherness, standing out the role of the leader, which influences the values of
adolescents, motivating each of the members, through trust and confidence, becoming a
facilitator of the identity construction process.
