This paper presents the results of research in a Colombian Educational Institution
called Tomás Cipriano de Mosquera, located in the 10th locality of Bogotá, in the city's
southwest. The research describes the migrant flow of Venezuelan students to Colombia
and its implication and impact in the subjectivation´s process of Venezuelan students’
interaction between Colombian and Venezuelans enrolled in the institution. Data were
collected from a semi-structured interview and observational journal.
Findings show that different violence is present in the students´ interaction. The findings
suggest specific bridging mechanisms, bonding system factors, adaptative strategies, and
visibility that migrants involve in their interactions.
Finally, the research provides a significant chance to reflect on the importance of
researching the phenomena, and find ways through which we should make more suitable
incorporation of Venezuelan migrants in educational institutions.
