Un Sistema Gestión Ambiental (SGA) ayuda a las organizaciones a gestionar y mejorar su labor ambiental, y a asegurar que se cumple con las responsabilidades medioambientales. Este sistema se encarga de desarrollar, implantar, revisar y mantener al día los compromisos en materia de protección ambiental en toda la estructura de las organizaciones del sector cerámico de la ciudad de Cúcuta. El siguiente artículo hace una reflexión sobre como la implementación de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental en una organización del sector cerámica ayuda favorablemente a reducir los impactos ambientales y se puede orientar a la mejora continua, desde el mejoramiento del desempeño ambiental de las organizaciones.

An Environmental Management System (EMS) helps organizations manage and improve their environmental work and ensure that environmental responsibilities are met.
