This research project aims to identify the main strategies of coping with work stress most
used by people in the administrative area of the city of Bogotá D.C, when they face a stressful
situation, for this purpose we focus on our research question What coping strategies do workers in
the administrative area use to deal with work stress in Bogotá?
To answer this question, we first start with a survey, in which we collect sociodemographic
information, followed by the tool that allows us to know what percentage of the population work
stress has, thus identifying its levels (high, moderate, low), for this We used the "Perceived Stress
Scale" (PSS) tool. Lastly, the Modified Coping Strategies Scale (CES-M) (Londoño, 2006) was
used to help identify the most used and least used coping strategies in the population.
