En el presente documento presenta el diseño e implementación de un programa de riesgo mecánico en un centro de acopio de material reciclable en la ciudad de Bogotá, con el propósito de garantizar un espacio de trabajo seguro para los trabajadores de la empresa a partir del diseño e implentación de actividades encaminadas a prevención del riesgo mecánico. This document presents the design and implementation of a mechanical risk program in a recyclable material collection center in the city of Bogotá, with the purpose of guaranteeing a safe work space for the company's workers based on the design and implementation of activities aimed at preventing mechanical risk. In the present work it is of a descriptive nature, because it details the steps in the Riesco intervention and the evidence of its implementation, the beneficiary population are informal workers who carry out their functions in the collection center. Among the results, it was found that the workers do not use any element of personal protection and that the machines are in inadequate condition and outdoors in such a way that the risk they have of suffering an accident due to said situation is evident. For this reason, it is recommended to develop management programs not only for mechanical risk.
