La investigación analizó los efectos del acompañamiento familiar en el éxito escolar de los estudiantes con Necesidades Educativas Especiales de la básica primaria, a partir de las características y realidades que se construyen en los escenarios educativos del contexto rural colombiano. Los objetivos de la investigación se direccionaron a la caracterización de las condiciones, situaciones y particularidades del contexto familiar de los educandos, la descripción de los factores asociados a la falta de acompañamiento de la familia en los procesos académicos y formativos de sus hijos y finalmente, a partir de los datos encontrados, estructurar elementos pedagógicos que puedan ser aplicados por las familias para vincularse efectivamente a la educación de los estudiantes que presentan barreras para el aprendizaje. La metodología de investigación se ubica dentro del enfoque cualitativo, se trata de un estudio de tipo descriptivo con diseño inductivo la muestra fue no probabilística, se escogió por homogenización.
The research analyzed the effects of family accompaniment on the school success of
students with Special Educational Needs in elementary school, based on the characteristics and
realities that are built in the educational scenarios of the Colombian rural context. The objectives
of the research were directed to the characterization of the conditions, situations and
particularities of the family context of the students, the description of the factors associated to the
lack of accompaniment of the family in the academic and formative processes of their children
and finally, from the found data, to structure pedagogical elements that can be applied by the
families to be effectively linked to the education of the students who present learning barriers. The research methodology is located within the qualitative approach, it is a descriptive
study with an inductive design, the sample was non-probabilistic, it was chosen by
homogenization. The results indicate that the family environments in which the students are
brought up present particular needs, difficulties and situations, which have an unfavorable effect
on the learning of children with Special Educational Needs.
