In the early 1980s, a new form of drug trafficking began to be structured, the creation of the
mafia cartels, with large bosses and changed cultural constructions both aesthetically and
artistically, which also structured new ethical and social values. At the same time, in the
northwestern districts of Medellin, a musical genre was being created by young people that was
eventually called "punk medal", based on the principles of foreign punk groups, where a new
philosophy was being structured, which over time became resistant to the phenomenon of drug
trafficking, the "do it yourself". Making an aesthetic and ethics different from drug trafficking, this
aesthetic was reflected, in forms of dress, artistic and literary.
In this work we will focus on the forms and uses of clothing and analyze them as a
discursive form, creating a semiotic of the body and how the body develops as a language of
resistance to the "nacre-culture" Pardo (2017).
