Las Drag Queens son artistas masculinos que representan de manera exagerada y variada la feminidad, con el fin de hacer un espectáculo en el que se mofan de las construcciones sociales como lo son el género y la sexualidad. La paulatina representación en los medios de comunicación de estos artistas en la marcha del Orgullo Gay en Bogotá, permite la circulación de publicaciones que narran su estética a través de imágenes y texto, que componen la construcción de la publicación. Está monografía pretende explorar cómo se representa a la comunidad Drag Queen en la marcha del Orgullo Gay en las publicaciones del año 2013 hasta el 2019 en los medios impresos y digitales de las revistas Semana, Arcadia y SHOCK teniendo en cuenta dos variantes de análisis el discurso icónico y el discurso textual.
The Drag Queens are male artists who exaggerate and represent femininity in a varied way, in order to make a show in which they make fun of social constructions such as gender and sexuality. The gradual representation in the mass media of these artists in the Gay pride in Bogotá, it allow the circulation of publications that narrate what happened in the LGBTI pride with pictures and text that make up the construction of publications. This papper aims to explore how the Drag Queens is represented in the Gay pride in the publications from 2013 to 2019 in the print and digital media Semana, Arcadia y SHOCK, taking into account two variants of analysis that are picture and discourse.
