IMPLICACIONES DE LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS CON LÁSER EN LA SALUD DE LOS EMPLEADOS DE CENTRO LÁSER EN MEDELLÍN

Abstract

El presente proyecto, se enfoca en el estudio de las implicaciones que tiene la manipulación de las máquinas láser en la salud de los empleados de Centro Láser Medellín, empresa con una gran proyección. El texto expone sobre el impacto en la salud que puede generar la inadecuada manipulación de las máquinas láser en los empleados que las utilizan. Se realizó una revisión de referencias que hablaran sobre el tema. Sin embargo, fue muy poco lo que se encontró, quizás porque el uso del láser es un tema aún novedoso en el campo de la medicina estética. No obstante, la investigación permitió determinar las posibles afectaciones en la salud y aún más importante establecer las acciones necesarias para prevenirlas. Entre los instrumentos utilizados para la realización de la investigación, se contó con tres elementos, la aplicación de una encuesta a los empleados, una entrevista al jefe de procedimientos y una observación directa de los procedimientos que realiza Centro Láser. Se analizó la información obtenida y finalmente se pasa a sugerir una serie de recomendaciones como medidas de prevención en la realización de los procedimientos. El láser es una tecnología novedosa, cada vez coge más fuerza en el mundo de la estética, razón por la cual se hace necesario ahondar en investigaciones relacionadas con éste tipo; pues si bien son muchos los beneficios para los usuarios, pocos se han detenido a pensar en los efectos o riesgos que tienen las personas encargadas de realizar esto procedimientos.

This project focuses on the study of the implications that the manipulation of laser machines has on the health of the employees of Centro Laser Medellin. a company with a great projection. The text discusses the health impact that improper handling of laser machines can have on employees who use them. A review of references that spoke on the subject was carried out. However very little was found, perhaps because the use of lasers is still a novel topic in the field of aesthetic medicine. However the investigation made it possible to determine the possible health effects and even more important to establish the necessary actions to prevent them. Among the instruments used to carry out the research there were three elements: the application of a survey to the employees, an interview with the head of procedures and a direct observation of the procedures carried out by the Laser Center. The information obtained was analyzed and finally a series of recommendations was suggested as preventive measures when carrying out the procedures. The laser is a new technology it is gaining strength in the world of aesthetics which is why it is necessary to delve into research related to this type. Well although there are many benefits for users few have stopped to think about the effects or risks of the people in charge of performing these procedures.
